Natural disasters can cause huge amounts of damage to our homes and property and cause large unexpected expenses. Foresters Financial has created the Emergency Assistance Program benefit to help its clients when natural disasters strike.
How The Program Works
When affected by a natural disaster or major personal emergency, the Emergency Assistance Program offers anyone with a Foresters annuity or life insurance policy temporary financial assistance with a one-time, per disaster, and per household payment. Foresters’ goal is to help their clients recover as quickly and effectively as possible. This is a fantastic benefit to an already excellent product.

Why This Program Is Great For Your Clients
This benefit is great for anyone looking to prepare for the unexpected. Natural disasters can strike at any time, and if proper precautions are not taken, they can leave families devastated financially. Being insured through Foresters is an effective way to prepare for the worst. Make sure your clients and their families are protected and informed of their options.
Hurricane Laura was a large natural disaster for South Louisiana and East Texas, but it is not going to be the last. Staying prepared is critical for you and your clients’ financial future.
Caring Through Crisis Grant
Foresters is also implementing another new program to help during a crisis, the Caring Through Crisis Grant allows members to receive $250 to support their community during the pandemic. This grant is for people who want to do activities like virtual volunteering and fundraising activities to help their communities during this difficult time. This grant is open to any Foresters member over the age of 18 and is open until August 31st, 2020.
