Last Chance to Submit a Volunteer of the Year Award Nomination!

Don’t forget to nominate that one member in your group that never fails to go the extra mile in making a positive difference in the community! Time is running out; nominate a member today for the UCT’s Volunteer of the Year Award before it’s too late! The deadline is April 30.

While deciding on your nomination, consider your member’s local council support, community service involvement, and the ability to engage and mobilize others. Keep in mind that nominations are based on volunteer service from the past year only. Though, you can consider your council’s fiscal year as the past year. UCT heads back to Greenville and the South Carolina Upcountry for our 2017 convention

Right between Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina, is Greenville, South Carolina, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This amazing town offers great shopping, dining, nightlife, as well as family attractions. Additionally, its nationally acclaimed downtown paints a pretty picture with tree-shaded street-scapes, public artwork, lush parks, unique shops, and a 60 foot waterfall.

The members who attended the 2009 UCT convention in Greenville loved it! And you will too when the convention returns to to the city July 3-6, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville.

Hyatt room rates are as follows and are applicable three days prior and three days following the convention, based on availability:

$119 per night – single/double rooms
$129 per night – triple rooms
$139 per night – quadruple rooms
